September 2, 2026: Phase 3 discovery structure

TradeCert added six user-journey hubs, a private transition-budget calculator, breadcrumb structured data, a human-readable site map, and stronger internal linking. The former generated archive was permanently retired; only close replacements receive redirects.

September 2, 2026: Phase 2 tools and security cleanup

TradeCert added an explainable eight-question career finder, interactive comparison controls, local saving, shareable result URLs, RSS, a source-tip workflow, a favicon, and a default social-sharing image. The retired client-side job widget and its embedded provider credential were removed from the old archive. Live listings remain off until a server-side integration and provider compliance review are complete.

September 2, 2026: Phase 1 reviewed library launched

TradeCert replaced its publication-style homepage with an action-focused career experience, added three national career paths, published source-checked Michigan and Texas electrician guides, added reviewed search and comparison pages, and gave all fifteen original articles visible primary references and next actions.

The electrician wage article was updated from the May 2024 BLS release to May 2025 data. Its state ranking tables were removed because an unqualified ranking could create false precision without current metro, industry, benefits, overtime, and cost-of-living context.

June 26, 2026: generated licensing archive removed from search

TradeCert excluded 400 generated state/trade pages, 50 state hubs, eight trade hubs, and three comparison pages from indexing after finding repeated language, overgeneralized structures, mechanically updated freshness dates, and unsupported details. Those files were permanently retired in September 2026 rather than left as a low-quality shadow archive.

June 26, 2026: automatic freshness disabled

The scheduled process that changed “last updated” dates without checking underlying requirements was removed. Review dates now change only with a content and source review.
